A Stitch in Time

Welcome to Velo Magic, a Blog dedicated to the pursuit of finding that magical quality during any given moment of a bike ride, race, interval, or anything bike related.  Velo Magic was inspired by the Bulgarian tradition of Banitsa. On New Year’s Eve you eat a pastry that contains hidden fortunes or well-wishes. In 2016, I was the lucky recipient of the following fortune:  "In some of your travels, you will find magic that is greater than this world."  Ten year old, Nora explained that I was "to find some magic when riding my bike", and that was the inspiration for the original Velo Magic post on facebook in mid-January 2016.  Over the course of this year I will continue to blog my personal insights and inspirations as I discover and re-discover cycling.
